Development Academy

SUMMER & FALL SEASON 2023

In 2023 we have a target to field 4 teams in our boys development academy program
and 2-3 teams for our girls academy.

There are no tryouts, but we do have an evaluation evening to aid us with team formation for us to balance teams.

Places in our Development Academy are open to boys and girls born 2014 or 2015.
Space is limited and offered on a first come first served basis.

Our calendar for our 2023 Development Academy (DA) season which is
outlined as follows:

May 18: Development Academy Evaluation
July 11: Development Academy Training Starts - Practices Tuesday & Thursday
July 21 - 23: Redmond Select Soccer Tournament (All DA teams)
July 24: Everton FC: Development Academy Training
Aug 18 - 21: Island Cup Tournament (All DA teams)
Sept 8: Fall Season Starts - Games are played on Saturdays

Development Academy

Bainbridge Island FC Development Academy is a unique program competing in a competitive (select) level league and tournament
format. a competitive level environment, we host open registration for
all 8-9-year old who would like to be part of the program.

Rather than hold tryouts, where 8-9-year old are told if they are good enough or not to participate in a competitive (select) level environment, we host open registration for all 8-9-year old who would like to be part of the program.

Our philosophy is a simple one: we want to develop players who have fostered a love for the game!
